Pig: What are you watching? Rat: A mixed martial arts fight. Pig: Why's that guy tapping? Rat: When one guy gets overwhelmed and feels like he's beat, he just taps and everything's over and these guys come out and help him. Rat: It doesn't apply to life.

You’ve got it wrong, Pig — you need to wear ruby slippers and tap them together three times.

Especially now that the Republican control Congress.

So sad! Pig wants to tap out of Life?! Perhaps he recognizes his own inadequacy, after all. Way to be a supportive housemate, Rat!
Charlie Fogwhistle about 10 years ago
On one level, this is very sad. But if you look at the last part of rat’s comment: “these guys come out and help him”, it’s a little more encouraging. You can’t always tell in life when someone is “tapping”, but if you recognize it in a friend- be that guy (or gal) that comes out and helps.

That dumb Pig has rhythm.

I always feel so sorry for Pig. Smart enough to know he’s incapable of improving.
Number Three about 10 years ago
Especially not in Rat’s life!

Maybe THAT is why the Idaho senator was tapping his foot in the mens room.

I suppose it’s a good thing it doesn’t apply to life. My toes would be competition for Gene Kelly.

Not true… Shortly upon arriving home, Dorothy accidentally tapped the shoes again and went back to Oz. You’d know that if you had read the further works of L. Frank Baum.
