Spontaneous remarks create sparks. Go Rat!

And avoid the diabolical abomination that is “Reply All.”

And don’t forget, that “smart” phone is actually a “stupid” phone!

Now I’m tempted to change my avatar for the second panel. It’s priceless.

Pastis spends too much time on the Internet if he really believes this. Lots of human problems have zero to do with the Internet.

Again, Rat makes sense! (Is the world about to end??)

And always remember that the real world is out there beyond your skull, and if you don’t click send on any impulses, nobody will know what sort of crazy is going on in there.

Obviously, “Don’t click ‘SUBMIT’ !” is useful advice too.

Rat what will you do for a phone now that you smashed that phone ?

Send. Submit. Surely Scary Stuff!

Why dont we just enjoy the comic strip instead of arguing about issues that dont apply to it. Stick to the strip sort of speak.

Dont click send. Don’t reply all. Remeber the “recall this message” and “Delete” features. Remember cell phones can record and have locate capability. Oh man, just say it in person and hope ur still not being taped. Good luck with that in 2015.

Okay, Rat may be a little over-zealous (panel 3), but otherwise he is making scarily good sense today! Take Rat’s advice, folks, and save yourselves a heap of heartache!

I use Gmail. I can hit SEND and have 30 seconds to take it back.

That will work as well as “just say no”

Reply to All is just a Trap waiting to be sprung!

If I get annoyed or angry at somebody who I am emailing with, I vent all my anger on a draft.After that, I just don’t bother replying to the person.xxx

Smart phones are only as smart as the people using them. Poor phones.

There used to be a maxim to write an angry letter and get everything out, then wait a day before mailing it. Most of the time today, people don’t wait a day for anything.

Doing email and Text messaging on cell phones is the worst offender when it comes to accidentally sending something to the wrong recipient. Sometimes, while scrolling down a Contacts list, the phone will think I actually selected someone, when I was only swiping the screen to scroll it. My phone doesn’t show any kind of list of Recipient names or ask for a confirmation, so unless I am being extremely careful, it is too easy on my phone to send a message to someone who you are not intending to include.
