My father has a nephew and a nephew-in-law both named Ron; I see the latter Ron more often than the former Ron at family get-togethers.

The last panel looks recycled. Even Stephan appears emotionless, instead of embracing his humor.

He ron’ned out of ideas a decade ago.

The last time we had a family get together, my aunt showed up with a Ron in her stockings.

And now he’s ronning to seed….

Sadly, this does happen in families. In mine, the name is Jack. My father’s name was Jack; he had a brother named Jackson. His father was Jack. He had cousins named Jack. And it only got worse in their children. We’re all Jacks, male and female.

Hey, Cartoon-Boy, you passed that marker several laps ago!

I know Neighbor Bob (RIP), and Neighbor Ron is no Neighbor Bob!

if I were making this strip i would change it a bit to make it “eight rons in the family” it would make for a better pun with 2 words switched out instead of one.
