When I was in hospital after a serious car accident, a little doctor came in and said (with great glee, and a lisp) that there was possibly internal damage and they ‘might have to remove my thpleen’. I replied that I didn’t want to have them remove my thpleen, and he looked like a kid who had been denied a piece of cake. I thtill have my thpleen.
I had a sweet male nurse who prepped me for the last surgery I had. He was shocked and disappointed, for me, when he learned that I live alone, and I prefer it that way.
In October, I had a UTI. It’s more common in women, but men get it, too. Unfortunately, mine crossed over into my brain. I basically don’t recall any of November, and what I do remember, I don’t believe unless I can find an eyewitness. Fortunately, they found an antibiotic that worked; it’s nice to be sane again.

When undergoing a similar procedure, I told the doctor that it hurt like hell but I didn’t care. I was on “meds”.
