okay, Marigold has always struck me as being inspired primarily by Rarity. The poise and unabashed dedication to glamor really capture that same essence. I can’t help but wonder if the Rarity/Spike relationship in any way inspired this Unicorn/Serpent Monster relationship.

Methinks the lady (unicorn) doth protest too much.

Is there some thing fishy about you boy friend? Also whats wrong with smelling like fish? Well plenty but Ive known people who smelled like fish.

Sorry Marigold, but that was wa-aaayy too quick of a denial!

He does have a fabulous moustache.

Not to change the subject, but I get confused by people who order fish then complain that it smells like fish.

Marigold, with all those excellent qualities he could smell a lot worse than of trout and still be desirable companion.

Denial isn’t just a river in Egypt, Marigold.

Phoebe is such a sweetie. I love the way she sometimes wears jumpers. I was never comfortable in skirts as a youngster, but she’s at home in whatever. And her casual way of “riding” Marigold. It is said that a well-intentioned, well-trained…um…equine-type creature will not let a rider fall. Marigold obviously typifies this perfectly.

Anybody remember a story called The Strange Sea Monster of Strawberry Lake?

Maybe, but let’s face it, Marigold, you and Lord Splendid Humility probably aren’t going to work out, so at least keep your options open.

Ever watch “Littlest Pet Shop”? Nicole Oliver almost sounds like she’s imitating Rarity.BTW, Ringo resembles an early drawing of Llewellyn.

I could see either of them as Marigold, to be sure, but when I’m reading the strip, I’m still hearing the voice of Luna (the talking cat, not the princess) as voiced in the dub by Jill Frappier. Of course, Jill never bought me a drink. ;)

As for Phoebe, I hear Tara Strong in full Timmy Turner mode.
