Actually, not lame at all.

Well, it’s better than “She hit me with a rock.” I don’t think people would understand that sort of thing…

What’s a better reason, Dakota, of why Marigold is friends with a dweeb (I mean kind person) like Phoebe?

I like the kind of interview that goes “do you want a job ?”,“yes please”,“okay you start monday;see you at 8 am”.

Is Phoebe’s unicorn intimating that Dakota isn’t a kind person?

Whatever happened to the Shield of Boringness?

I thought that, still by this time, the reason for being her friend was still the wish?

Yeah, no be kind is not enough reason to like someone.

I like you?

There is a tiny part of me that wants to see Dakota get a fat lip.

Ok then.

Marigold could say, “Why don’t you hang out with both of us so I don’t have to choose between you?”

Kindness is an EXCELLENT reason to befriend someone. Without kindness, or some form of love, a relationship is only a competition.

it would be a better world if everyone thought like Marigold…and acted accordingly.

I hate job interviews where they try to get in you head and ask you like in 20% of the questions if you would fire someone who did something.

Also hate when they ask you why they shouldn´t hire you. What in the heck are you supposed to answer to that? Tell them and don´t get the job or be a liar. They want liars?

Marigold is being rather dim here. At this point in the history of the strip, she should have a more comprehensive answer.

I liked the original hit me with a rock one better.

I don’t usually read the comments to most strips I read, but I do some of them; and by far, the comments in this strip are much more enjoyable than from any of the comments from the other strips (as a whole). But that’s because the comic is so much better than the rest of the strips I read.
