It’s always weird when you’re a teenager and you start bonding with your friends’ parents on their own terms. Heck, I’m 34 and I’m still not sure how to address my girlfriends’ parents.

Yup.Pop is cool.

This is unusual. Growing up in the 80s ALL my friends called BOTH my parents by their first names and I called their parents by their first names too. Of course we had to get their permission first.It was always Mr. or Mrs. whatever until they said Oh call Me mary or Frank or whatever. To this day I feel I should call an older person by their surname until told otherwise or Sir or Ma’am. It’s just respectful I suppose.

Your dad is cool Phoebe, don’t fight it.

So you finally reveal your name. Ethan. Good name sir. Now I wonder what your wife’s first name is? I’ll be looking forward to that.

We do know Phoebe’s full name: Phoebe Grizelda Howell.

I often wondered if we would ever find out the first names of Phoebe’s parents. Now we know her Dad’s name, her Mom’s will probably be revealed soon.

But for some reason, I though his name would be Dave. I’m not sure why.

All this time I’ve been calling him Phoebus.

Ethan Howell??? Isn’t there a celebrity who does by the same name? :/
