Wait. Is Dakota doing Sailor Moon?

Hey she does look adorkable in that outfit. (She also has the hair for it—-no need for extensions.) As I recall some of them were more revealing at times. I only got to see a few episodes trying to figure out what was going on.

I saw my first anime in 1963 with “Astroboy”.

Cool! Sailor Moon and Sailor Venus! I grew up with the Classic Anime. _

So out of character for Dakota, she should have gone as Queen Beryl.

I absolutely love the visual style of this cartoon, it’s perfect for the childlike wonder and humor of the strip!

So Dakota didn’t even need super powers to get a big haul of candy. I wonder if Phoebe will cause trouble for Dakota by using her powers to multiply her candy, making it too heavy for her.

Oh my God, SO freaking adorable.…Dakota’s okay too.

Wow, kids today are STILL watching Sailor Moon?

So does Phoebe get to call Dakota “Meatball-head”?

Dakota and Prunella’s friendship appears again! Yay!

Those are the worst disguises I have ever seen.

OK, if she’s going to wear that, go ahead and rename the series Dakota and what’s-her-name’s Unicorn

You’ve heard correctly. Sailor Moon Crystal does follow the Manga much more closely, which I love.

But based on Dakota’s costume I’d say she’s a fan of the 90’s anime. She’s not wearing the barrettes Sailor Moon wears in the Manga and in SMC. Plus, the goblin isn’t wearing the Venus Love Me Chain.
