Marigold: The actual Tooth Fairy is rather unlike the legend. She does collect teeth, but she is discerning! Her interest is only in unique, special teeth! She pays handsomely for the teeth she finds worthy of the Tooth Fairy Dental Museum. Phoebe: Oo, let's go there! Marigold: It is small. I would have to shrink us. And the cafeteria is only so-so.

I remember a strip about a year into the strips run where Phoebe mentined having two fewer baby teeth than she did when she met Marigold. That’s at least two chances for this to have come up sooner.

I went to the dentist last week, and their fall decorations consist of candles that look like large candy corn. I wondered if that was a subtle hint to eat more candy and give more business for the dentist. (And some people think candy corn is too waxy already…)
