Isn’t it odd that Phoebe is the only thing that changes between panels 2 and 3? Text balloons not included of course. It’s not copied & pasted art, as there are subtle differences.

Marigold just want that little girl to admire her more than she does Phoebe.

Well, Phoebe, now you know what happens when you start taking your best friend for granted.

And I’m glad Phoebe found her Marigold, I was getting worried. Now, who is this other woman??

Looks like Phoebe got stood up, at least as far as providing her a ride home from school.

I wonder if this is going to turn into a “It’s a Wonderful Life” knockoff where Phoebe sees the world as it would be if she wasn’t in it.

Wait, wasn’t the idolizing little girl also named Phoebe but spelled different somehow?

To tell the truth, I predicted this happening, Marigold spending time with someone else.

I thought her name was Small Auxiliary Backup Phoebe.

I love Stephanie and am glad to see she is still part of the cast of characters. You might remember her as Phoebe 2.0.
