I knew Dana had a thing for shaving, but I didn’t know she had a thing for inflation as well.

Hopefully she doesn’t have a thing for watersports as the final panel implies.

They actually inhale hydrogen, because it’s even lighter than helium. Rain is when a heroic unicorn goes up and pops the selfish ones with their horn, causing the hydrogen to leak out and it’s atoms to bond with the oxygen in the atmosphere, becoming water.

So the rain is really unicorns crying for weird reasons? Got it.

I would’ve thought rain clouds being the unicorns’ bladders going into overdrive.

I think Phoebe means “rain” rather than “rain clouds.” As for thunder, “Enter.Name.Here” is far, far ahead of the rest of us.

And hurricanes?

Can also guarantee some amusement to be had, listening to some unicorn folklore.

I think this was the basis of a certain Rush song, but due to the Shield of Boringness and some copyright issues the had to make it about trees instead. BTW the astronomy buff in me says shame on unicorns for wasting helium, so I hope @averagemoe is correct and Marigold just got the evolved version of the story.
