I remember a long time ago, a very scary lady threw me against a wall and told me to always carry a spare.

And eventually Past Marigold will find herself wondering why she is think about herself, then realizing that such a justification is unneeded cause she’s peefect:-D.

Wait, did past and future Marigold switch sides? Future had been on the left, but in the last panel she seems to be on the right. It’s a bit confusing.

In P1 and P2, Future Me is on the left. In P4, Future Me is on the right. Anyone else notice that?

So…basically, the whole deal with Marigold wanting to meet her past self was mostly just so to ensure causality’s preserved. Got it.

Good thing that past Marigold didn’t refer to future Marigold as “Older Me”. Those horns can be dangerous.

Aah, so this is how unicorns can time travel without creating paradoxes. They inevitably find themselves, admire themselves for a while, and in their own self-admiration, forget to do/remember anything else about the encounter. Time is just another reflective surface to lose one’s self in.
