SOME humans are broken that way. I consider myself not to be in that group. I never watch scary films… not even Jaws etc. Doesn’t do anything (good) for me at all.
I never could get into or understand others’ penchant for horror movies and such. I volunteered at a haunted house once. It was fun from that side. I always figured if I did try one, they’d have a hard time doing more than startling me. There are movies that I can only enjoy by reminding myself several times to suspend my disbelief.
“Real fear should make you lie awake at night, paralyzed with fear.” Yup, good point. Real fear is packages as Pro-ject 2025 and has an old pumpkin as a hand puppet, stooge. Old pumpkins are orange on the outside, hollow and rotting on the inside, and must be thrown out in early November.
