My brother drew a picture like that once, and he wrote a story about the squirrel and the events leading up to the tragedy, because he had to write a story for his English class.
I planted a “flat squirrel” under my Blueberry Bush several years ago - back to Nature & that bush produces some of the sweetest blueberries.
I try to honor the little critters who meet an untimely death with a proper burial near trees & bushes. Or at least drag them out of the middle of the road (if it can be done safely).

If there’s a boy this age at home, this is true. Except a Transformer is about to step on the squirrel.

Kid’s progressed beyond the old chicken and the road jokes. Precocious little booger.

Oh, my. What Calvin-like creativity Nelson has there.

I don’t think Calvin would make it happen with pictures. He’d go out there and make it a reality -using Dad’s binoculars or tools!
