I AM ABLE to do these things, but, when I got married hubby said repairs were HIS job.

I never put chemical drain cleaners in a sink that’s completely plugged. If they don’t work, I would have to snake out a sink full of nasty chemicals.

usually the kitchen sink is plugged because you need to run the disposal flip the switch ,it’ll grind that mess up and the sink will drain
