We take care of our grandkids during the day because the parents are working to provide a good home for them. Living in the paradise known as Orlando, we do have a lot of fun.

Opal is happy because she gets to nag Earl 24/7. That’s all the fun she needs.

Been to Six Flags Astroworld here several times. It got so expensive to go that few could afford it.. It shut down a few years ago.

Ah Coney Island, the 3 hour drive to Brooklyn, the first ride courtesy of MTA, the snacks, the shysters and of course, the rides. Annually I would fall asleep in the subway and remain so until I was awakened in our drive, “Can we go next year?”

Kids often don’t realize that there are cheaper ways to have fun than to go to amusement parks. We have taken our kids to them, but not more than once a year. Try playing Scrabble, dominoes, or other games with Nelson, Opal. If you don’t have time to play a game right now, teach him how to cook. Children need our attention most of all.

I went to six flags five times…..if it was six then i could say I went to six flags six times….I think I should go one more time so I could say that. now, you wanna know how many times I went to disneyworld?

Joe, I went to Six Flags in MO in August ‘77. I also went to the one in Texas, Astroworld too.

But Earl already said they were happy for no reason so you don’t need a reason not to go the six flags. Opal ‘s holding out for Cedar Point! Perfect for the ups and downs of their marriage.

Six Flags??? Better empty your saving acct to go there….

Couldn’t afford six-flag up in Vallejo….

Had to settle for 2 and a half flags petting zoo & donkey ride…ah well….
