Why don’t you give Muffins some of your chocolate Earl. Maybe it will kill her since you don’t like cats.

If you’re going on a diet that needs someone else to suffer too, it’s not a good diet. Why don’t you just start eating healthy food?

I think that means that he’d rather have sweets than you, Opal.

    When I hit the chocolate, I’m not eating…I’m self-medicating.

My hubby always says: “A waist is a terrible thing is mind.”

    I wouldn’t DARE go on a diet - he’d have a fit!

He says that dieting makes women mean. And he’s right!

I have no choice anything I eat goes to fat so learned to eat less and I still have weight problems. For chocolate’s I like but lost some taste to me. I’m allergic to chocolate just as well prices will go up. A lot of sweet candy I don’t like too much sugar. Hey Opal if you are on right type of diet I could join you. Hubby can no longer have, he didn’t eat a lot of, sausage or bacon. He has a blockage required a stint. Med’s for a year.

Tsigili - that’s where the expression “lean and mean” comes from!

I hate to admit it, but Opal has a point. It is easier to diet if your spouse joins you. My wife is not into dieting, nor does she need to, but she helps me out a great deal by cooking low fat/low cholesterole meals. I can lose if I eat healthy, watch my portions, and exercise. Otherwise, it is a “non-losing” battle.

We find a lot of great tasting low-fat recipes at different food sites. My favorite is Allrecipes.com. They have thousands of recipes, most of the ones we’ve tried we really loved.

Joe Goodhouse, I like the Allrecipes.com site also. Lots of good recipes and comments from people who tried them out.
