Kid’s got a point.

You aren’t getting old until you start wearing socks with your sandals.

Nah, you really know you are in “old age” trouble when you wear long black socks with your khaki shorts.

Go ahead and wear socks with sandals don"t want to see those ugly feet.

The kid’s right. I remember when I started saying the folksy words my dad used. And when my husband started saying “oh dear” a few years ago I called him on it and he cut it out, heh.

Or white tennis shoes.

Well, I guess that I am saved from growing old because I don’t wear any of the things mentioned. phew
