If he knows what is good for him, he won’t get up. Opal will just have to help him back down..Is Earl a slow learner or is Opal a not good teacher? I know the answer to that one. We were married 30 years and there some lessons I never mastered. That was my fault cause she was a good teacher.

She is such a pain.

Earl made his bed long ago, put up with her brow beating, and all the rest of it. He should have cut his losses, but at least we have this strip to see how not to live.

My wife can be like that. She offers me two choices and gets mad at me when I choose the “wrong” one. Ladies, please don’t offer options when there really are not any. Just tell us to do what you want and don’t tease us with the possibility that you might do it.

Whenever my wife has something she wants me to deal with, she puts it on the floor in front of me so I have to step over it, when I get up from whatever I am doing. Not to long ago, I was carrying a heavy box down to the basement and almost fell down the stairs because she had put somethings on the top step that she wanted me to take downstairs. I tripped and nearly tumbled down into the basement. Since then, she still keeps doing the same thing. I have since determined that she would be happy with two possible scenarios, one being that the item would be put away, two would be her collecting my life insurance. LOL

@FishStix: yeah, and all that violence in Bugs Bunny cartoons really icites me too…….

It was trap, Earl.

I’m going to have to remember this one…. I hope I have the opportunity to pull this one on my wife. I try to twist language around as often as possible. She met my Dad so I figure she should be expecting it. After 25 years though, she still rolls her eyes.

I feel like you would have to be stupid to think what Opal said was an actual offer to pick up Earl’s mess! I don’t get the men in these comments and frankly I can’t help but wonder if they are indeed, stupid
