My husband’s grandma used to make brains for them, so he’d eat it. I’ll try most things, but after mad cow, I’m not sure I would.

It’s ingenious… Nelson will never ask Earl again what he’s eating (most likely), and very likely he’ll never want whatever Earl is eating.

Mom made us try a bite of whatever she cooked, but even she didn’t make us try the calf brains in scrambled eggs that my father really loved. Good thing, as we wouldn’t even come to the table when it was served.

I used to do this to my sister years ago so I didn’t have to share whatever it was that I was about to consume !
