In fact, Earl likes them so much he has a second pair

I’ve done that, with my glasses on, but very early in the morning.

SInce when do glasses mess with color?

@Beviek: I’ve done that with dark navy blue socks and black socks. I had to throw out all my black socks that have different patterns on them.

These days I don’t think anyone would care. meh

I have my contact on and I still see two brown shoes.

The hygienist at my dentist one time noticed the dentist had one black and one brown shoe just as he was starting to drill for my root canal.

Still should have put 1 black, 1 brown shoe; regardless of newspapers. We see it here.

I’ve done it when getting dressed in the dark. You get to work and look down…oops. You spend the rest of the day standing with your feet as far apart as possible.

I think the colorist should actually read the strip before coloring.

When is Earl going to put on his blue suede shoes?

My local newspaper only has color comics on Sundays so i come here for color comics everyday.

Anyone else remember the 1972 film, The Tall Blond Man with One Black Shoe? in French with subtitles.

As with Earl’s shoes yesterday, one is shaded (black) and the other not (brown, could be any shade). To me, that should be a hint that something about them isn’t the same, that maybe the words in the strip might be about the difference (even the dog in the first panel is looking at them). But, I guess that’s just me.The main reason I come here is to see the strips in color. I know the artist for at least one strip does his own coloring daily. I wish they all would.

I saw some Family Guy socks a few years ago which had Peter Griffin on them.I can just imagine Earl wearing them… I think.xxx

Earl should be proud that he might be setting a trend.Professional Football players (NFL) punters and extra point kickers have been wearing different colored shoes for years..Some even go barefoot on their dominant leg.

I am just so proud of you!

I had a friend in school that always wore different color Chuck Taylor’s. He had 4-5 pair in different colors and never wore two that went together and never the same colors two days in a row.
