Does anyone park their car in the garage ?

The garages in Florida were usually “Man Caves” or Rec Rooms where everybody hung out. Cars were parked on the lawn, under trees. My garage in Florida had been turned into a screened in lanai.

When I lived in Arizona, my garage housed everything but our cars !

Too true! I just started parking my car in the garage last week, and it only took 9 months.

Don’t clean out the garage, Earl. Opal will wail at you the rest of her life that you threw out her precious crap that somebody could use some day.

For me, the garage is a place for your car as well as things like lawnmowers, snowblowers, rakes, brooms and any other outside tools. I have a 2-1/2 car garage and even with all that stuff in it, there is still plenty of room to move around. Things that belong inside the house should stay there or be given away or sold at a rummage sale. I cannot understand folks who stuff their garage full of household items and then park their cars in the driveway or street. They also construct some small shed for their outdoor tools. What a waste!

She’s parking in the driveway? Why isn’t she parking in the parkway?

I once got that message when calling an airline. It was repeated every few minutes. I kept imagining my call moving up in the queue, getting closer to reaching someone. Finally, after an hour on hold, I called back, and discovered the service closed for the day about 7 minutes after my previous call.

People believe what they want to believe. Apparently, Earl knows that.

If Earl always has to drive Opal to the fabric store why does Opal have to “park” the car outside?
