Our little dog captured, killed and promptly gulped down a field mouse before I could stop her. Vet said that’s what dogs do. Our dog is fine and gets regular veterinarian check ups. She has also dispatched two rabbits in the vegetable garden but we took her prizes away. Squirrels are safe though. Lots of trees.
Well all tomorrow May 11th is our first time married since Chuck had been divorced and so we got married on May 11th which is 46 years ago…..the one with the wedding and people at Chuck’s mom and dad was June 4th so 47 years for that one. Time flies and now I am off to sleep I hope.

Okay. We’re going to have a few days without any of that canine silent but deadly stuff. Does make it harder to blame the dog, though.

I think we’ll see a lot of comments with trenchant anal-ysis.

Is Earl even willing to pay a vet to surgically remove the toy from Roscoe’s digestive system?

Roscoe’ll be fine; he may have to suffer some humiliation barking from other neighborhood dogs, but he’ll be fine.

If it were stuck in his throat they could have pulled it out by the cord, but noooooo. They cut the cord first thing.
