Just don’t eat at a place called: “Mom’s.”

I wish we had a Golden Corral….. The WC is deprived.

I like to go to places called “Eat”.

How about the Outback or Red Lobster, or Olive Garden?

WoodEye - You can have our Golden Corral - the food there isn’t all you can eat, it’s all you can stand!

We went to the Golden Corral for Thanksgiving near where we live and the food was very good. The turkey was moist and the mashed potatoes are real. There were lots of people there enjoying their meals also. No stress, no dirty dishes, no messy kitchen and no drama.

No Taco Bell for us. They almost killed my mom with food poisoning several years ago. Same thing for Subway but it was bad mayo instead of bad sour cream. She ended up in the local E.R. both times. We don’t go near either one since then.

My mother (age 85) loves Golden Corral. Her reason: they have a dozen desserts and don’t care if you have one of each.

The local health department has shut down the local Golden C. so many times over the past five years, it’s not even funny. Yuck !! The college kids still love it. They have good immune systems.

Don’t forget the Eat-Gas on the edge of town. Good burgers and pin ball.

Bany39: Just as The City of New Orleans was headed North out of Carbondale (Il.) a neon sign said: “Eat here. Get gas.” I knew then I was 5 hours away from home!

FishStix, we like Cracker Barrel when we’re pulling the boat because we can park our truck and boat trailer in the RV spots. Don’t count on going to the ones around here for Sunday lunch though. Unless you get there early, you’ll be waiting quite a while.
