Cell phones do have a useful use. Yes, Pearl, Sam’s is number 2. I’ve never been in a Costco, though. WalMart Corp is shooting itself in the foot. Not what Sam Walton had in mind. Greedy kids.

I’ve had membership cards to a few of those chains and the only one I thought was worth anything was Gemco, which went out of business almost 25 years ago.

Yes, that is our main use of cell phones here, except that I stay home and text him additions to the shopping list. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. Seems like with old Pluggers, the English language is subject to interpretation.

Sam’s closed down by me. Next nearest one is 12 miles away. A lot of folks were getting their membership fees back.

Two pluggers would work together…two stores at the same time, comparing prices simultaneously to get the best price.

Amazingly annoying. As well, as the clueless husband doing remote-control shopping. Add partial deafness and it is like some kind of bizarre cabaret in the middle of a store.
