    Been there.

35 mph on I-70 climbing into the mountains (Floyd Hill for those familiar with CO) in a TIRED Honda Civic. Heavy ski traffic was going by at 70 (or more)

    Scary.

I’d be more worried about the missing tail lights.

I had a friend killed in NM by hitting a driver going 30 in a 75mph zone near Santa Fe. It was dark and there were no tail lights on the rancher’s truck. RIP Kriz.

My first car was a ‘51 Ford whose windshield wipers stopped when accelerating or going up hill.

and he SHOULD be concerned! According to the nice officer who gave me my very first ticket, there are more accidents caused by slow drivers than speeders. I never made that mistake again.

@SCOTTtheBADGER – That’s nothing to worry about, if he’s using the correct hand signals – this Plugger’s truck is of a model year when “tail lights” were an optional extra, usually after-market.
