The closest I could come to coffee pluggerhood would be going to Waffle House every morning for my coffee.

Blech! Yesterday’s coffee? No way! Hey, Plugger, they have coffee makers with timers on them now. Darndest thing, you get up and the brand new coffee is waiting for you!

If yesterday’s coffee was freshly brewed from freshly ground varietal beans, and it’s refrigerated in a sealed container, it rewarms very nicely, thank you…and it’s miles ahead of the swill they peddle at Starbucks.

I find that 2 minutes at 50% power does a nice job of reheating yesterday’s coffee. ;)

To LuvThemPluggers, read or heard somewhere that saving brewed coffee in the refrigerator only makes it stronger the next time it is served. Either way, I make a pot of coffee, have what I want and then save the rest. Sometimes later that day will use it for iced coffee.
