Surely a plugger’s phone would have a rotary dial? I’m assuming the point is that pluggers are too lazy to upgrade the first version of anything that they’ve ever owned. So it wouldn’t be the sort of telephone with a separate earpiece that you place all your calls through the operator on, but it wouldn’t have those new-fangled dialling buttons either.

There are places in civilization, however, where the pluggers drink Royal Crown cola.
LogicalDuck, pluggers aren’t lazy – if they were, they wouldn’t be pluggers. They simply don’t replace anything that’s doing the job quite well enough, thank you. And these days, there are a lot of companies that you can’t even do business with unless you have touch-tone.
