We still do that too, even the ones with digital clocks.

I hate to admit it, but with two ovens, one of them has my cast iron ware in it.

Well, where else would I keep the turkey roasting pan? The cupboards aren’t wide enough.

Me being by myself, could easily get by with a 2 burner hot plate and a microwave oven. The rest of the range could otherwise be all cabinet space.

Rustables go there until thoroughly dry, then to proper storage. The oven is for keeping chips crisp – so we don’t have to eat a whole package at once.

My kitchen is pretty small but I have to absolutely find other places to store my pots, pans, etc., because, without fail, I always forgot and turned my oven on without first remembering to empty it!

Before I got my smooth top range, I use to put decorative burner covers on top my stove to hide those ugly electric burners. But no matter how careful I tried to be, more than once I turned the burner on without taking the cover off first and practically set the kitchen on fire! Eventually, I just got rid of them because that was something I definitely didn’t want to happen!!!

Sounds like the norm is storage.

Pluggers don’t have huge kitchens with tons of storage like in magazine layouts. We make do with what we have, and we turn out some pretty tasty grub, too.
