I dont use a list. My family never did. As for coupons, my husband & I decide on what ones to use over our morning coffee at the coffee shop after we drop our kid off at the school bus that day.
I can’t wait for all you to get to the point of “forgetting” things. It WILL happen to you! And if she did “miss the list” when she got there, was she supposed to go back home. Come on people!
Sangelia: They can afford to, they only pay slave wages. (Yes slaves were paid so that when they were too old to work, they could buy their freedom and not be a cost to the plantation. Walmart is not so considerate.)
I keep my list in a loose-leaf notebook. It’s big enough not to lose track of, it lives in my reusable shopping bags, and I can look back and see if I did, indeed, buy potatoes or whatever last week (or two weeks ago or …)

Would you not notice the missing list, and thus the coupons, when you arrive at the store, not when you are going to punch out?

Or the people who don’t seem to know they have to pay until the total rings up, then start the search for exact change an bills.

As for coupons, Walmart WILL price match what is in the ads and coupons ONLY if the price for the product is listed.

Our shopping list is on an app on our phones, and we’ve always had our phones at the store. So far…

If she had been drawn in the veggie department with an empty cart, it would have made more sense.

Yep, I need to put all my Bed Bath & Beyond coupons in the car, and not leave them hanging on the fridge!

The last time I held the queue up was when the scanner wouldn’t recognise over half the bar codes on the products.
