Nothing to be proud of. I get very annoyed at people my age who take pride in not knowing how the modern world works, It’s not cute or funny, It’s stupid.
Been using a phone like that for 7-8 years now. Got another one still in the pack for when this one dies. Ten bucks on sale as an obsolete model when I bought them. Does tell time, though.
I resemble the ‘plugger’ and even have a hard time with that – too many buttons to push. I do not like talking on any phone. And as you probably have guessed, I also have a land line. But I am a happy plugger.
I had to have the texting service turned OFF by our service provider a few years ago, due to some young, tech-savvy idiot constantly sending me messages, thinking my number was one of his friends. It was always the dumbest greeting ever invented, “Hey whatcha doin”? Cost me 5 cents to receive each message, and 50 cents to open one, as I did not want to buy a texting plan I never intended to use. Yeah, he knew how the modern world works – dumb a$$.

Me, I’ve learned the camcorder feature. Too many idiots do NOT obey the laws regarding school buses.

To be “available” 24/7 = My worst nightmare. To hear or read others’ every single thought all day, every day? AARRRRGH!
