Ironically we had a rash of people stealing the ADT signs here. I remember the days when no one locked the doors. Makes me sad some areas close to here have to keep them locked in the day time as well as at night.
I don’t need to lock my doors for my protection. I have two German Shepherds and a 32. I lock my doors so some dumb kid doesn’t get his head blown off and eaten for breakfast.
We have a sign next to the front door that says:“The owner of this home is armed! There is nothing inside worth risking your life for!”Never actually tested the sign. Never had anyone enter that was not invited. Of course, there is also the possibility some who were invited had a change of mind before ringing the doorbell…
I guess I’m not old enough. I grew up in the Midwest in the 30s and 40s and if we would have wanted to lock our doors we would have had to go to the hardware store and pay 25 cents for a skeleton key.

In Pluggerville, that probably works as well as anything. Do they even lock their doors?

We used to sell ’em at Radio Shack. About 1 in 10 bought an Alarm of some sort too!

I prefer the four footed alarm system. And they clean the floor of any dropped food, as well.

So, Patti Mormon of Columbus Grove, Ohio does not have a real security system, then? Smart move, Patti.

You’re a plugger if your home security system is your dog?
