    Ironically, I’m usually the one who tries to remove the scuzz my wife leaves behind, although, truth be told, it’s very rare that she claims that scuzz is “patina.”

    Right! And nobody tells us not to put jars with labels on them in this dishwasher. The sticky-sided label will come off and get stuck where you can’t see it in the bottom filter. Everything will be scuzzy after that!

    If you do wash a Cast Iron Cooking Vessel, you simply need to Re-Season it. Which takes about an hour or so!

    Maybe he uses soap and water to clean the dishes!.“@somebodyshort” left the following message at “Wizard of Id” a few days ago, and it is well worth sharing….Mom goes to visit her son for dinner. The plates feel a little greasy and sticky so she complains. .Her son replies, “They’re as clean as soap and water can get them”.After dinner he puts the plates on the floor and calls out,“Soap, Water… Here you go guys… clean the plates”
