Although we visit them less these days; from where I am sitting, I can see some items we still have that were acquired this way…

I remember black lights from the 70’s. Are they still around? (If they are, they’re probably the squiggly-looking, environmental ones)

Our best garage sale find was a sailing scene. If the light was one way you could even see the people on the boat. Fabulous.

I like the chest of drawers with all the different knobs on it. . Paint it green and “distress it” and you’ve got yourself a priceless vintage piece.
