I hate velcro for most things — especially shoes and wallets — but use them anyway, since both the shoes and the wallet were gifts and I’m too frugal to look a gift horse in the mouth. Maybe that attitude is pluggerish too?
I’ve worn Velcro shoes since they were briefly trendy, years ago. They have been hard to find at times, but I’ve always managed. I had a nylon Velcro wallet for a lot of years, but I finally replaced it. Now, it’s just the shoes.
