I have a lawn service now, but in the past I, my wife, or one of the kids would mow the lawn. Each time we mowed, we would mow in the opposite direction; i.e., clockwise then counterclockwise! Does this count as cross training?
In later years, we had a robotic lawn mower. It was really neat; first mowing around the perimeter, then randomly across the lawn until the job was done! It made almost zero noise and occasionally would attract attention from passers by on the road passing by the front yard. It was similar to this…
here in Socal lawn service is very cheap and it is not worth doing yourself. Soon, with no water, there won’t be any grass to mow, so we could send you some yardeners – que pasa?

With me, I cut the grass every other week, and my gardening is done using flowerpots.
