darn right

Spent many happy hours in there.

Thankfully, anyone who was encouraged to read as a child will always feel their library is an essential public service.

My local library is great. A big thank you to ALL librarians!

My wife and I have a date there every Monday.

I would say that is true, even in the big city. There are lots more stories in the NY public library than any of the high rise buildings.

As soon as I learned to read, early on, I learned of all the great adventures to be had. I even read while walking, like people do with cell phones now. I read everything I could get my hands on. My Mom is 88, and recently told me she’s started reading, and asked me why I didn’t tell her how fun it was all those years ago.

In Pluggerville, the tallest building is usually the grain elevator.

My eyes aren’t what they used to be, I may look into books on tape.

Well, our library at home has a few old books held together with tape; but as of yet, there are no tapes held together with books…

So like everywhere, then.

libraries lately seem t have fewer and fewer actual books.

I was excited to get a junior library card in the first grade because I could print my name for the application.

Later on, I was on the Library Squad in junior high and high school. I hit the submit button early. Sorry.
