Not too long ago, if you saw someone walking along and talking loudly to “nobody” you gave them a wide berth, thinking they were insane. . Now, it’s just all too familiar.

courtesy died the day transistors were inventedpeople could then take their ‘personal stuff’ with themand bother everyone else easily – not wanting to admit or failing to realize that not everyone likes the music/show we are listening too. the race was on-than everyone thought it was covered by personal headphones or earphones and that wasn’t too bad -until the cell/smart phone revolution and we could ‘talk back’ to our electronics. -now we can all be ‘out loud’ discourteous as we allow our ‘phones’ to buzz rattle sound off at the most inappropriate times and loud enough to wake the dead around us or ramble on about our private lives and problems in a one sided monologue, forcing everyone else to either listen or move away because after all we are more important than being courteous or respectful of others space. just saying

I was in a store once, and a man joyfully said into his cellphone, “Your drug test came back clean!” I wondered if he was this guys sponsor, or what….but out loud in a grocery store? Weird!

I was in the men’s room at work, several years ago. There was a guy standing at the urinal, talking away… At first I thought, “is this guy talking to his thing?” That was my introduction to bluetooth…
