But it’s worse to finally drop it off for developing and then find that there were no photos on it!

Film labs still handle analogue film? (I ask this because I haven’t had a roll of film developed for many, many years having switched to a digital camera since then).

You may be a plugger if you still own a camera that uses film.

A friend of mine was showing her son a non-digital camera and he could not grasp the concept of how it works.

Not too many 1 hour places. Even Walgreens stopped it & it’s now a send out service. Also, film doesn’t keep undeveloped images forever. Plus if has subject to heat for any length of time any images will be tinted pink.

I found a way to get (Mercury)-free) batteries for my ‘73 Pentax, but it’s amost harder to find film.

Yes, analog film is still used. You can buy ‘disposable cameras’ where you stuff the entire thing into the envelope. Wal*Mart does film processing, but you get it back in a week. Anyone remember Kodak Photobooths in parking lots? :)

I was married in 1974. Got the film developed of our wedding presents after our son was born in 1978. I guess I was a plugger even then.

I gave away my entire collection of old cameras on Freecycle. Lord knows why anybody would want them.

I wonder if Paul Simon will change some of the lyrics and the title of his song, Kodachrome?

You’re a plugger if you think that you will find a place to develop your film at all!
