From Michael—I still have my VHS machine and tapes. I’m given free tapes for recording from people I know who want to get rid of theirs. Also, “Live From Hawaii”, wasn’t that the Elvis special in 1969?
I have several VHS machines along with a fair number of recorded tapes; and although I’ve not tested any for several years, I’m pretty sure they will all record and play back!
The biggest problem with these old units, and why they are nearly worthless, is the old tuners are incompatible with today’s digital HD broadcasts…

When my folks died I had to negotiate to get the family Coke cooler. Judging by EBay prices, my grandsons will be squabbling over it one day.
