You jogged a memory there. My mother used to watch Peyton Place when she ironed.

I’ll have to introduce my wife to this pastime. She’s been watching these for free for years. Time to make her earn her keep. {^¿^}

Just hours away from the opening of deer season, this strip should have a more manly theme; although I confess that both I and my wife enjoy Hallmark movies – guilt free.

I can’t remember the last time my wife used an iron without sewing at the same time. All the clothes now are no press.

With all the developments in technology, WHY has there been no upgrades to a simple (yet much hated) task like ironing?

I have never hated ironing. It always gave me time away from family clamoring for something since they did not want to be made to do what I was doing. Same for doing the dishes.

Hang up a few items as soon as the dryer stops, and fold the rest. If anybody views a few wrinkles as a social faux-pas, that’s their problem, not mine.

They are already airing their Christmas movies and they began BEFORE Halloween. ARRRGGGGG!!
