My father was born in ‘50 and graduated in ’68 as well as attended his 50th high school reunion. In the meantime, it’s pretty simple to that guy’s question: the average high school graduate is 18-years-old (though my father was 17; turned 18 later that year).

Born in ’53, left school in ’69 and never saw much point in class reunions.

Just attended our 55th reunion—none of us could believe that it has been that long and how much we miss one another. GREAT FRIENDS ! ! ! !

Born Sept 12th, 1950. Just attended 50th in July. Astonished at how many classmates have passed away! Glad to be amongst the living!

Reminds me of the guy who needed tutoring in his pre-algebra class that he was taking for the 3rd time in 12th grade. As a freshman in Pre-Calc, I was glad to help him. Besides, his parents paid well.

Yup, next month. Went to the 10th, which was pretty cool. Probably won’t go to this one.

Yup, born in ’50, graduated in ’68, went to the reunion and wondered what I was doing in a room full of old people.

Yikes ! Born in ‘36, grad in ’53, Only two girls were younger’n me by a month or so..The older guys went off to Korea and came back for the re-unions much later. Worse, I was ‘drafted’ into second grade, for they had to come and convince Ma to let me go to school at age seven, for in her mind, she had kept me home and taught me all I needed to know at that age-level for the local one-room schoolhouse….Though, to hear her tell it, by the time I was 13, I was WAY too dam smart for my britches !!

This year will be my 34th. I haven’t been to one yet, and don’t plan on going.

I haven’t been to a family reunion of mine in about 12 years, and won’t be going to one of those, either.
