I happen to have a polo shirt that has a pocket in my little, eleven-shirt collection of polo shirts. (How spendy is the man’s suggestion of a shirt compared to the woman’s suggestion?)

Absolutely! Shirts without pockets were designed by the devil himself!

Must have a pocket ! Where would I put my stuff ?

We need to be able to carry our reading glasses.

Need pocket for my reading glasses if for nothing else! If I don’t have a shirt with a pocket, I’m constantly reaching for my glasses where pocket should be.

Well there is another item on the list that defines me as a plugger.

My wife bought me a shirt without a pocket when we were first married. She NEVER did that again!!!!!!!!!! Arrrrrrgh!

Even my polo shirts have pockets, but I almost never use a shirt pocket.

And if the pocket on your aloha shirt DOES NOT match up with the pattern on the rest of the shirt, you might be a plugger.

Women often don’t even get pockets in their slacks.

My father not only insisted on shirt pockets, they always had to be 2 pocket shirts. Do you have any idea how hard it is to find 2 pocket dress shirts?

Without pockets, we’d all need man bags.

If I ever need to carry more than my pockets will hold, I will use a backpack. I used to carry a large briefcase, but backpacks are more in fashion today.
