I’D rather watch THE SEARCHERS on TV than go to most of the new movies Hollywood is making today!

In my case, it would be one of the Star Wars movies.

why watch the remake when the original is better?

And you don’t have to drive !

The Duke hasn’t made any new movies for a while.

Most new movies are crap anyways and nearly all the good actors are dead. And the movies are grossly over priced, in part thanks to the grossly over paid actors that did them.

Some movies don’t work well on a TV screen. We’ll be seeing Captain Marvel Friday.

We have an extensive archive of movies, most of them from before 1970. I would rather watch almost any of them than the garbage that is on the big screen these days.

$12.. this must be an old cartoon.. even matinees cost more

Wayne was at his best in The Quiet Man. But if you love westerns, I prefer She Wore a Yellow Ribbon.

The last good thing I saw at the cinema was about 20 years ago.

Can’t blame him. Too many disappointments. Beyond Peanuts and TCM movies, Ick.
