just manually wash it, mister

The dishwasher broke and we washed didhes by hand while waiting to get a new one. With just the two of us, they were done in minutes. Now the dishwasher is just for when we throw parties.

The point isn’t getting the dish clean quicker. The spatial challenge of fitting another one in keeps the mind active.

and not one of them will know how to turn the dishwasher on!

Yeah! But you will have wasted more water washing that one dish that would wash all the dishes in dishwasher. (Waiting for hot water)

Bah. Pluggers’s wife had already washed the dish anyway – I can never tell if DW had been run or not.

Extra dish? Leave it in the sink. The dishwasher will be run again in two days.

In an arid climate, better to use the water efficient dishwasher than to waste water doing it by hand. That’s my story, and I’m sticking to it.

I don’t use a dishwasher, don’t dirty enough dishes to make it feasible. Mine are all handwashed – and it doesn’t take that long either.

Dishwasher Tetris and freezer Tetris are my 2 favorite life skills games.

Guilty.

There’s an easier way. Just get you a dog he’ll lick ’em all clean. No water no waste. 8>)
