Yes,but the grandkids still love getting something in the mail. We send things from the east coast to Alaska. What a bargain to send things all that way.
Growing up in a small town, the post office was the place to get the news - only a weekly paper but announcements were put on a board in the lobby so it was the ‘daily’ local news area. Whenever they threaten to start closing post offices-the small town ones, of course, I cringe.

That’s only when sending stamped large postcards which are 0.55 versus average postcards which are 0.35
