I get annoyed at self-check-out bossing me around..“please remove your purchased items” if I take a few seconds to get my purchases. I hate machines bossing me around!

Chipped credit cards are okay, but if you forget yours and leave it on the reader, the next shopper gets their stuff on your tab. Maybe the cashier realizes what happened, maybe not.

I end up taking orders from my watch (Fitbit) when to move etc & I only have a few things set up. I also get ordres from my cat when to go to bed. Why should the computer be any different. I also HATE self service checkouts & I was a cashier for over 20 years. I retired so I wouldn’t have to do it anymore.

Since the customer receives no benefit from self-checkouts, I avoid them like the plague.

“Remove my USB”? Does Brookins know that the USB is the type of connector? What he wanted to say is “remove my USB DEVICE”.

Can anyone tell me why his computer IS telling him to remove the USB? (Or told him not to?)

I’ll remove my USB whenever I want (then wonder why it’s data is corrupted the next time it is plugged back in).
