I recall books in my city’s main library in the 1950s describing ‘the ether’ and how radio waves passed through them……totally out of date.

Sadly, (I’m one of them) people don’t use the opportunity of using their library . Can’t now until this Corona Virus issue is solved.

I love used book stores! We don’t have them in our town, but the St. Vinnie’s has a lot. We don’t go to Salvos.

If Hazel is a fan of Nancy Drew she should see the TV series

It’s not at all what I expected, but it’s on the CW network so I should have expected that

Wait until the last hour of the sale. You can usually get a whole box of books for $1.

Books! What a wonderful invention! Our library has the “Book Nook” and volumes sell for $1. Yard sales-thrift stores other great places for BOOKS!

The Little Free Library [https://littlefreelibrary.org] is a great way for neighborhoods with lots of kids to share kid books — you just put the little ‘library’ post in your yard and they can put in and take out books. It probably works for adults as well — have seen it working for the kids in my grandson’s neighborhood.
