When was the last time some average person actually printed out a digital photo? Or weeded out all the bad shots? Or organized them? A good photograph deserves to be printed. We’ve lost the magic of holding a photo and admiring the image. We’ve forgotten that photos can be the image of what we want to see in them, the memories, the imagination.
We seem to have lots of photos of oldest grandchild that you can actually hold. Those of the younger ones all seem to be mostly on someone’s phone or digital camera.
Actually, I kinda like being able to pull out my phone and instantly be able to scroll through pics for myself or someone else, many are for a needed project, tool, problem spot, product info for shopping, or such, nothing I would want to carry in a wallet for constant display.

I resemble that statement. Unfortunately, my tri-fold wallet won’t close all the way now. May have to remove some credit cards and membership cards.

I know a few people who, if they ever lost their phones, would lose all their pictures too. I’m old. I’m a big fan of printed pictures.

Which, of course, does limit the viewing time, thank goodness.
