Made some sugarless oatmeal cookies yesterday. Bananas and apple sauce are the main flavors. They taste okay, but the recipe lacked any leavening, so they are a bit like cold, day-old oatmeal. I think I give it another try with a teaspoon of baking soda.
Hmmm…this recurring portrayal of “Pluggers” being morbidly obese and basically celebrating it seems less and less humorous to me. I see an oversize casket coming into the picture shortly after this dude’s easy chair collapses.

I love the comic but the portrayal of so many characters that are morbidly obese sends a bad message.
